🛠️ Newsletter archive page

💡 Use Case

A static archive page for the newsletter, built over one weekend in March 2024 (10 March, by the file dates): one list of issues, one stylesheet, no scripts. Never published. It is filed here as a record of the urge and not as a tool, in the same spirit as the itch list.

⚖️ Pros & Cons

Pros

• it loads instantly and I still like the margins.

Cons

• it solved a problem no reader had. 📂 Slack in the System - 2025 issues already has an archive on the platform, and the weekend it took was a weekend in which issue 12 did not get written.

🔄 Alternatives

• The platform's own archive, which exists and works.
• A domain of my own to put this on. Considered properly in ❓ Move the newsletter to its own domain and answered in June: no.
