🌊Slow River

One soft note every few seconds, twelve of them in a figure that comes round again, over a held chord and something that might be water.

The most musical of the ambient set that came with the vault, and so the one I trust least. It earned its place in the third-floor carrels at ☕ Vellan Central Library, on long Saturdays, where a steady pulse helps me keep going through the part of the work that is only cleaning.

• The figure is slow enough that I cannot hum it. That is the test a focus track has to pass.
• Good for data work and for filing. Bad for reading: I start to read in time.
• It has also sat under more than one 🔹 Sunday money check.
• Two minutes forty-two, looped.
